Thanks to our friend, Dusty Rhodes, (the ORIGINAL Beatles Fan), our club is in possession of hundreds of Beatles Fan
Letters and lists of member names and membership numbers from the 1960's when Dusty was the top D.J. in Cincinnati on WSAI-AM
Radio and back when the Beatles music was BRAND NEW.
Thanks, Dusty!

Dusty's Beatles Boosters Club was the original Beatles Boosters back in the mid-1960's and we would love
to invite those pioneer Beatles Boosters to join our club. The trouble is, how do we find them? Most were teenagers
when they joined and many of the girls will have changed their names by now. Very few people still live at the same
address as they did so long ago. The addresses are incomplete without their zip codes which weren't in
use back then. And there are so many names and addresses, it would take forever to write to them.
We think this website might just be a better way. Click the "NAMES AND ADDRESSES" links to the left to
look at the lists and click on "Contact us" if you know anyone on the list. Please pass the word to your friends
so they can check, too!
Click here to send an email if you know any of the people on the list

BBC History " Starting the Club"
by Linda Andriot, President/Historian
In August of 1996, I got a call from
my friend, Wildman Walker. He said that since I saw the Beatles at Crosley Field on Sunday, August 21, 1966 that I should
go to Gary Jeff Walker's radio show called "Breakfast With The Beatles" on Sunday, August 18. They were going to celebrate
the 30th anniversary of the Beatles' concert at Crosley Field in Cincinnati. I called and ended up on the show
where I had a very nice time. I did not realize then that I was actually meeting all the people who would become my
new friends. Debbie Johnson was one of the people I met and she said that we should all go to England together in August
1999 and I told her I'd love to go. She took everybody's name and phone number and I got a call from her a few weeks
later about going to a meeting at Dean's house in Mason on Sunday, September 15th. At that meeting, we talked about
starting a Beatles Club. This was the foundation of the Club. We all thought this was a great idea.
The second meeting was Saturday, November 2 at Nancy's house. We tossed around a lot of names for the club. I said "Beatles
Breakfast Club". Nancy said "BBC". Everyone loved it! The third meeting was at Debbie Johnson's house on
Sunday, December 8. We voted on officers. The officers - President Kathy Curtis, Vice President Debbie Johnson,
Treasurer Nancy Mongillo, Secretary Debbie Umberg and Historian Linda Andriot. Since it was the anniversary of John's
death we had a candle light vigil. After that we had to work on getting other people to join. The Officers and
the Board of Directors held a membership drive at Media Play in Western Hills and Florence. We even established a club
logo for the Beatles Breakfast Club.
Speaking of our friends... Jim Knippenberg of The Cincinnati Enquirer gave us a great write-up
again on Tuesday, December 2, 2002. The previous website address problem was corrected and he also mentioned our resident
John Lennon look-alike, Bill Fox's Locks For Love hair cut adventure. (See "Current Boosters Events" for more info.
on this project).
Please note: if you're giving this URL out, we do not have a "www" on our name at this time.
Thanks to Jim's plug of our project, we have started to find some of our pioneer members. If
you check the lists of names, you will start to see stars next to some names... these are the members we have located and,
as time goes on, you may hear more about them. We hope some of these original Boosters will attend some of our meetings
and fill us in on what it was like to be a Beatles Booster in the beginning!

We also have a lot of old pictures from back in the old days and we are hoping to identify the people in them.
Please take a look at the photos on our "Mystery Photos" page and see if you recognize anyone. Contact us if you have
any info.
